In this project, I designed a 27th letter of the English alphabet to represent a unique sound not currently represented by a letter. I chose the sound “qu” as in quench or squeak. I developed an upper and lower case version of the letter that follows the structure of the typeface “Times New Roman” and fits seamlessly into the existing alphabet.
